About Appalachian Hope Network
Restoring hope, rebuilding lives, and strengthening Appalachian communities through compassion, service, and lasting partnerships.
Who We Are
Appalachian Hope Network is a nonprofit organization created to serve individuals, families, and communities across Appalachia. Our mission is to provide practical help, compassionate support, and life-changing resources to people facing homelessness, hunger, addiction, abuse, family hardship, educational barriers, and personal crisis.
Our Mission
Our mission is to reshape communities by improving education and alleviating homelessness, hunger, divorce, abuse, and drug addiction — one person at a time.
We believe real change begins when people are seen, valued, supported, and given the tools they need to move forward. Appalachian Hope Network exists to bring hope into hard places and build pathways toward stability, healing, and opportunity.
Our Promise
We are committed to serving with integrity, compassion, transparency, and accountability. Every program, partnership, donation, and volunteer effort is built around one goal: helping people rebuild their lives with dignity and hope.
Why Appalachia?
Appalachian communities are filled with strength, faith, family values, work ethic, and resilience. But many families also face serious challenges including poverty, addiction, housing insecurity, food insecurity, limited access to services, and generational hardship.
Appalachian Hope Network was created to stand in that gap — not as a temporary solution, but as a long-term community partner focused on restoring lives and strengthening the region from the inside out.
- Supporting individuals and families in crisis
- Partnering with local leaders and churches
- Helping communities build stronger support systems
- Creating pathways to stability and independence
- Serving Appalachia with dignity and compassion
